The Neoceratodus forsteri Australian Lungfish 39 is one of only six lungfish species in the world, and exists amongst stagnant or slow moving streams along the Burnett and Mary River systems in Queensland, Australia. It can grow to ~1.5 m in length and weigh ~40 kg, enjoying a diverse diet of plants, frogs, small fish and invertebrates.
