Like all museums, the UNE Natural History Museum (NHM) is closed until further notice because of social-distancing laws around COVID-19. I know many students were keen to help in the museum this trimester, cataloguing and organising the collection … So, since you can’t come into the museum, I’ll bring the museum to you each day the NHM is ‘in lockdown’- one specimen at a time! Most specimens will be from our collection not usually on display – giving you a little peek behind the scenes. Look out for something weird and wonderful each day through to Easter.
